We collect this information through:

• Contact forms on our website

• The Step Up For Students platform for Florida students (Only if orders are placed through the EMA (Education Marketplace Assistant).

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We use this data to provide, improve, and administer our Services which primarily consists of 1) access to the online STAR Assessment by Renaissance, and 2) communicating with parents regarding test reports or guidance with the PEP scholarship.

We may process your information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

• To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We will process your information to create an account for your student.

• To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to service requests.

• To send administration information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms and policies, and other similar information.

• To fulfill and manage your orders. We may process your information to manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through our services.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, test reports are sent only to parent/guardian(s). Please note that we do not send reports to Step Up for Florida Students, you will need to submit your own reports in order to maintain your PEP/UA Scholarship Status.

We may disclose your personal information with our service provider, STAR by Renaissance Learning, pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. This is necessary to the creation and activation of your student's testing account/portal.

Parents have the right to access their student’s test reports and to access their student’s account containing assessment information.

You have rights under certain US state data protection laws. However, these rights are not absolute, and in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law. These rights include:

• Right to know whether or not we are processing your personal. 

• Right to access your personal data.

• Right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.

• Right to request the deletion of your personal data.

• Right to obtain a copy of the personal data you previously shared with us.

6. Data Protection

All data is protected by password-protected systems for both staff and parents. Each student account uses unique identification numbers known only to authorized staff and parents to maintain confidentiality.

7. Geographic Scope

We serve users exclusively in Florida. We do not serve users in the European Union or California, so the GDPR and CCPA do not apply.

We will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of change, or by directly sending you a notification.
